Gallery Twelve
We had a wonderful time in Nashville and the surrounding
area. The end of September/beginning of October was a perfect time to go.
Nashville is a beautiful area anyway with its rolling hills and an abundance
of trees but this time of the year it is especially beautiful. All the trees
were changing colors and it was almost like a fall color palette displayed
in front of us.
Most people associate Nashville with the Country Music
scene; hence the nickname Music City USA. I was already a great Country
music fan but Jürgen fell in love with this music too. There is so much
more to the area than only country music though. It is the Capital of
Tennessee and it was home to three of our presidents; Andrew Jackson, James
K. Polk and Andrew Johnson. They have a vibrant and beautiful downtown
area filled with an interesting variety of architecture, a rich, interesting
history, a variety of pro and college sports teams, all kinds and types of
music and in addition it is filled with friendly people that will stop
everything to answer a question or give you directions.
We have tried to present you with a taste of the variety

 park was designed to complement the
Capitol Building and gives visitors a taste of the Tennessee history and
natural wonder. As part of the Mall carillon project, the final bell, or
answer bell was installed on the north grounds of the State Capitol in 2003.
This bell answers the 95 bells on the mall each hour. You can see the
elevated train tracks in front of the Mall area and it makes for quite a
beautiful scene.</p>'))
